About Us
We are the McCurdy family – Clayton, Robyn, Yelisa, Emily, Kayla and Kyleigh. Our family has served as missionaries in the country of Moldova since August 2003. We are sent out of Bible Baptist Church, Fairbanks, Alaska, and our pastor is Doug Duffett. We work in the capital city of Chisinau, Moldova, and reside in the suburb village of Gratiesti.
In most recent years, the main focus of our ministry has been in working with Purified Word Printing. Currently, we are working in the print shop designing, formatting, and printing Gospel tracts and evangelistic literature in the Russian and Romanian languages. This literature is given out freely and is being distributed all over Moldova and in parts of Ukraine and Romania. It never ceases to thrill us when Moldovans become burdened for their own people and request tracts and materials for distribution in their own villages. We are grateful that God has always provided so we may be able to supply them with these materials free of charge. It is our prayer and goal in the future to acquire the equipment necessary to be able to print and distribute whole Bibles.
We also have a weekly meeting in the village of Krasnaya located in the Transnistria region of Moldova. I preach to the adults while my wife, Robyn, and daughter, Yelisa, teach the children. Our daughter Emily also helps Robyn with her class of children.
God has also given us the opportunity to be involved with teaching in the Bible institute, preaching in villages, and soul-winning and street preaching here in Chisinau.
