Village Work
There are currently 3 village works started in Prednistrovia, Brother Hamilton preaches in 2 villages. He holds weekly Bible studies in Slobodzia, where he started the church in 1996. Brother Constantin Stratulat and wife Valentina serve there as missionaries out of the Bible Baptist church in Chisinau. Brother Paul helps with weekly messages to help assist Pastor Constantin, in an attempt to instruct the church there. God is using brother Constantin and wife Valentina to raise up 4 orphan children in his home. The Stratulat’s love souls, love people and have a heart to help the unwanted. Brother Constantin has made his home available to unwed mothers in attempt to win them to Jesus Christ. Continue to pray for the work in Slobodzia.
Miyak, which means Lighthouse, The Lord allowed us to have weekly Bible studies there to help grow a church that has been struggling for some time. As a result of preaching there 6 years, God has raised up and gave us a faithful Family, Brother Vanya Gromov. Brother Vanya, Svetlana and children continue to sow the word of God weekly. Svetlana teaches Sunday school and has a love for children. They farm their land, raise goats for the milk and continue to be a wonderful testimony of the grace of God. Please pray for this family as they fight the good fight of the faith. Currently Brother Gromov is in training to be a missionary Pastor through the Bible Believers Baptist institute. This is a small village with many opportunities for growth, especially the Sunday school.
Fellow Laborer Missionary, Brother Clayton McCurdy, along with his wife Robyn and their children travel to Crasnaya (which means Red), and hold weekly Bible studies. The McCurdy’s have a heart for souls and a hunger to preach and teach the word of God. Yelisa, their oldest daughter, teaches Sunday school while her dad preaches to the adults. It’s wonderful that God has raised this family to be a blessing to the work in Crasnaya. There are about 2 families and 30 children who come and it’s a great harvest of souls continue to pray for the McCurdy’s as they serve in Crasnaya.
Andrea and Alina Garanchuk serve in the North of Moldova, they are missionaries out of the Bible Baptist church in Chisinau. They currently have works in Slobodzia- Recea, Alunesh, and Sofia. Brother Andrea Pastors those churches and is a graduate of Bible Believers Baptist Institute of Moldova. Brother Andrea has a heart for people, and is actively involved in getting the gospel to the North of Moldova. In 2010, The Bible Baptist Church of Chisinau along with Central Baptist Church in Canton, Ohio held 3 day Vacation Bible School and revival 3 nights under the tent. At the end of 3 days God raised up a new church in the village of Slobodzia Recea. Brother Andrea Pastors the church and is faithful in the word of God there. Continue to pray for him as he laborers there. He and His wife love children and work faithfully to train children in Slobodzia-Recea . Brother Andrea Loves souls and helps many people. He was ordained into the gospel ministry in 2010.
